Place of peace and life. The monks are incredibly humble and friendly, the monastery is clean and open to visitors as long as they remain silent and behave.

Beautiful place to stop by after hiking across the street. Got a lovely explanation of the significance of this place from John in the bookshop . We will be back to learn more and meditate ! Gorgeous and so peaceful

Beautiful Tibetian Buddhist Temple in Woodstock. Off the beaten path. Nice quiet temple to relax and meditate. Everyone is so super friendly, and welcoming. They also have a great bookstore, and plenty of parking.

It was a beautiful day for a drive up into the Catskill Mountains past the Buddhist Temple, just before the drum circle in Woodstock. And these three guys came out to play!
